From inception, Encite's vision has been to create an Electronic Health Record (EHR) application that's designed and developed from the medical professional's point of view...not the developer's.

That's why we chose to bypass the use of the templates - a standard component of other software developers' applications. While from a programming perspective it would have been easier and resulted in a quicker delivery to the market, we rejected the template approach because it builds in rigidity that our research within the medical community indicated wasn't wanted.

We started our research in the late 1990's with the goal of creating a superior product. We incorporated as a company in 2002, and released the Encite Electronic Health Records beta application in 2003 to immediate enthusiastic response.

That response is due in part to the fact that the Encite EHR intuitively follows the thought process of the medical professional in real time to think and work the way you do.

By eliminating cumbersome, restrictive templates that force users to drill down through an assortment of screens to reach desired information and document encounters, Encite is easy to use, provides complete workflow freedom, and can be customized by medical professionals' to suit their personal workflow preferences without requiring that they be computer savvy.

As a result of the success of our approach to Electronic Health Records we've expanded, adding additional application and solutions to create a Suite of integrated Healthcare Information Technology products and services that includes:

• Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Practice Management (PM)
• Transaction Services (TS)
• Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

We've been able to achieve our vision through a true collaboration with clinicians, healthcare administrators and our channel partners. It's a collaboration that's helped us enhance our applications and services by continually querying, listening and responding to those collaborators in an ongoing dialogue.
