Dr. Mark J. Zalla is certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and a current Director of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Surgery and Medicine. He is on staff at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and St. Luke Hospital West.

Dr. Zalla is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed a three-year residency in dermatology and a one-year Fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Before joining our practice, Dr. Zalla spent seven years at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona where he established and directed the division of Dermatologic Surgery and developed his interest in skin cancer surgery, laser and cosmetic procedures.
